FLOWTONE GR

FLOWTONE GR is a micronised kaolin modified castor wax rheology modifier for the control of sedimentation and sag resistance. The presence of kaolin makes FLOWTONE GR easier to disperse compared to FLOWTONE R. FLOWTONE GR is suited to coating systems based on aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is best incorporated during the pigment dispersion stage using a high-speed disperser operating at no greater than 55°C (131°F). In order to obtain the maximum performance from FLOWTONE GR, the dispersion process should be maintained for a period of 15 - 30 minutes at a temperature of 30 - 55°C (86 - 131°F).
