Cray Valley Annouces Increase for Crayvallac Additives

Effective October 1, 2007 Cray Valley will increase the price of  its’ Crayvallac additives by  7–10 %, or as contracts allow.

This price  increase is being made to help offset the unprecedented increases for many of the raw materials used in the manufacture of the Crayvallac additives,   which continue to escalate upwards, and where a number of the raw materials  continue to be in short supply.

Cray Valley as a leading producer of rheological additives, surface modifiers and flow & levelling agents is serious in its commitment to the continued long term investment for the development, manufacture and strategic supply of these high performance additives on a world-wide basis.

The price increase is being made on the basis that a significant shift in the cost base and availability of certain key strategic materials has continued to take place during the year,  and which is not likely reverse in the near future.

These raw material increases together with other costs such as energy & transportation are such that we have no choice but to share part of the impact  on and in to our selling price.
